Took a walk today along a trout stream. No fishing, just snowshoeing. I didn't feel like dealing with icy line guides - I guess my attitude has sucked a bit, as of late. The stream didn't look right anyway - usually it's more open than it appeared today, not iced over as much. I'm going to have to go check out another one tomorrow to see how open it is.
Just a little slice of my heaven.
Ooh. Look what I found. Welcome back?
ReplyDeleteHi, Mike. I think so...
DeleteHey Casey! Glad you are back, and thanks for dropping me a note. First post of the new blog looks great! You guys must have gotten a bit more snow than we did. It wasn't quite deep enough here to justify getting out my snowshoes. I'm jealous:) Turkey tracks in the first pic?
ReplyDeleteBill
Hi, Bill! I appreciate you stopping by. With the first blizzard that hit us this year, we got around 8-10 inches of snow in some parts.
ReplyDeleteThose are turkey tracks in the first pic, guess I should have made that clearer! Looking back, I wish I would have got a pic of an area they were "scratching" in. Maybe next time.
Take care -
Nice pics. I guess welcome back. I have not caught your blog before. I am putting you on my list to follow. I won't say what my wife said about the trout stream, in a joking way, of course. She grew up trout fishing with her Dad in Colorado.
ReplyDeleteHi John, and thank you. I've been off Blogger for awhile, trying to make a mess of things elsewhere and have just decided to come back.
DeleteThanks for the restraint on the trout stream comment! This here is Iowa and I have to take what I can get.
Thanks for stopping by and take care -
