Correction

I do believe I'll make it back from this little "blogging sabbatical" soon. It's not that I have given up on my time outdoors ( I have been out several times, minus camera and journal)...it's that I have needed to get outside and be in the winds for reasons I'm not going to share here.

I need to make a major correction to my last post, as I have been giving thought to otter and beaver vomit/scat. Yeah, I think about those things. I do believe the otter vomit in my last post is actually otter scat. I had it turned around in my mind that otters do their doo-ty underwater, when actually, a beaver does. When I found the "vomit", the trail and tracks looked to me that the otter pulled over to puke. The tracks surrounding the evidence didn't suggest a "squat." But, that doesn't mean I read everything right.

So this blogger apologizes, and will preface future posts with : "Everything you read here may or may not be the figment of the author's imagination. Proceed with caution, and do not use this site with the intent to purge yourself with the knowledge of the great "outdoorsman" who writes here. You may end up regretting it in some way or other, some day."
